About Me

My Background

My name is Paige Robinson and I found pilates when a lumbar disc injury interrupted my dance career. I was 23 and didn’t want to simply accept daily back pain. I found pilates and never looked back! I recently retired from professional dancing after 12 years with companies including Dance Kaleidoscope, Eugene Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Graduate Program and more. I would not have danced as long as I did without pilates. In 2022, the latter stages of my dance career, I worked towards my comprehensive pilates instructor certification through Pilates Instructor Academy. I am nationally certified and completed the Girls Gone Strong Pre & Postnatal Certification Program. While living in Indianapolis I was an instructor at Pilates Indy Inc under Katie Wright. I’ve moved to Eugene, Oregon with my husband and two cats and I look forward to growing my pilates business! I would love for you to be part of this journey through pilates!

Why Pilates?

I mentioned back pain from a disc injury is what brought me to pilates. What made me get completely hooked on pilates was the focus on how the body functions. I love reasons, knowing the “why” behind movement. Pilates is a mind-body method, developed by Joseph Pilates, to improve balance, strength, flexibility, coordination, and above all else connect the breath. This method works for anybody, no matter your age, size, gender, flexibility, or strength level. I’ve worked with professional athletes, dancers, cancer survivors, new mothers and more from ages 14 to 93.

The focus on strength from the center out with proper breathing can help anyone. Pilates undoubtably extended my dance career and it can extend your ability to do whatever you want in your life. Common goals are reducing pain, improving posture, being able to take the stairs, hike the Grand Canyon, you name it pilates can help you get there.

Invest in your body with pilates.
